The Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow, Scotland has announced multiple scholarship opportunities available to international students to study for their master’s Degrees beginning in the year January, 2025. These scholarships range from 9000 pounds (approximately Rs 9.61 lakh) to 12000 pounds(approximately Rs12.82 lakh), depending on the course fee and the expertise of the candidate in his/her subject specialisation area. Out of the available scholarships, 35 are offered and they are given to those candidates who have excelled in their qualifications. Different information provided shows that students are advised strongly against applying for multiple programs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates could not have other additional scholarship awards or be sponsored by their employers during the study.
  • This means one has to be an applicant who has been offered a place for an MSc program in any university starting January 2025.
  • They have to be considered international students for tuition in their respective candidature.
  • Each student is eligible for only one scholarship in any one academic year offered by the university
  • Online and blended learning do not qualify as one of the eligibility conditions for this scholarship.
  • It is to be noted that application reviews will commence from August 2024, and in the meantime, the applicants must prepare accordingly.
  • The scholarship application is open until December 4, 2024. Scholarship decisions are final and there is no room for any appeals.

Any class of students who is following faculties like Accounting and Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, HRM, Marketing, Business, Hospitality and Tourism, Management, Management Science and Data Analysis can apply for this scholarship. The application process involves students’ writing a thousand word essay about their academic experience, relevant professional or extracurricular activity, and future plans.
