University of Sheffield offering £2,000 scholarship for computer science programme

The University of Sheffield, located in the United Kingdom, is offering the Computer Science Excellence Scholarship 2024 to international students pursuing an undergraduate programme in the Department of Computer Science. The scholarship is worth up to £2,000.
This scholarship will be awarded based on the candidate’s academic performance at the time of admission to a full-time undergraduate programme in September 2024 within the Department of Computer Science.
The scholarship will be provided as a cash prize, and candidates do not need to apply separately for it; they will automatically receive it upon entering the department.
Eligibility criteria for the computer science excellence scholarship 2024:
- Achieve, or be predicted to achieve, a score equivalent to AAA, with an A* in Mathematics at AS Level.
- Select the University of Sheffield as one of their choices on the UCAS 2024 application.
- Apply for a full-time undergraduate programme in the Department of Computer Science.
- Be classified as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes.
- Complete all prerequisite courses required for their specific programme.
Candidates will not receive stipends during any compulsory or optional study abroad periods. Students enrolled in University pathway programmes are also ineligible for this scholarship. If a student receives a scholarship from another institution besides the University of Sheffield, the combined amount must not fully cover their tuition fees.
