Discovery Education’s new partnership with a UAE-based foundation aims to enhance skill-based digital learning for students in the region. Discovery Education, an ed-tech company, and the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education have announced the further development of their partnership, STEM Connect.

Michael Savitz, International General Manager of Discovery Education, stated that this initiative will connect UAE educators with the essential tools needed to design educational technologies that foster student interest, enhance learning experiences, and equip learners for success in school and beyond.

The programme offers short lessons for students aged 13 to 18 and focuses on tackling STEM challenges. The courses are delivered in both Arabic and English.

“In today’s rapidly changing world, STEM education is crucial,” said Dr. Sonia Ben Jaafar, CEO of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation. “By making these subjects engaging and accessible through hands-on learning activities, we foster academic excellence while empowering Emirati students to become innovators and leaders who will shape a brighter future for the UAE.”

The foundation aims to develop the learning needs of young students and enhance the educational achievements of Emirati and Arab learners, particularly in STEM fields.

Discovery Education reaches approximately 4.5 million educators and serves 45 million students across over 100 countries and territories. Its content assists in preparing educational experiences and engaging students worldwide.
