Berlin University Announces Application Process for April 2025 Master’s Programme in International and Development Economics

Berlin University: Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW Berlin) is accepting applications for its Master’s Programme in International and Development Economics for April 2025. The programme allows students to specialise in international trade relations with a particular focus on development. Applications can be processed online through the university’s official website. Specifically, interested and eligible candidates can apply as follows:
Application Deadlines:
- With DAAD scholarship: 31 August 2024
- Without DAAD scholarship: 30 September 2024
English Language Requirements:
Candidates who have studied in English-medium schools should provide official proof of the language of instruction. For those whose education was not in English, proficiency must be demonstrated by achieving one of the following scores, which must be no more than two years old: IELTS (7.0 or higher); CAE (any level); CPE (any level); TOEFL (computer-based – 237, paper-based – 580, internet-based – 96); TOEIC (800 or above); or BEC Higher.
Required Documents:
- CV in Europass format with the date of issue
- Letter of motivation with date and signature
- English language certificate
- Passport copy
- Secondary School Certificate
Application Process:
- Ensure all admission standards are met.
- Complete the MIDE application form and submit all required documents.
- For DAAD scholarship applicants, the following additional documents are required: certification of professional experience and a recommendation letter.
- Unlike other scholarship programmes that require letters of recommendation from the applicant’s academic institution, this programme does not have such a requirement.
