Harvard University Features Bihar’s Social Entrepreneur Sharad Vivek Sagar in Prestigious Leadership Course

Harvard University has included the journey of Bihar-based social entrepreneur Sharad Vivek Sagar in its renowned leadership course, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Learning.

Sagar is one of just 12 global leaders whose lives and work are featured in the course, designed for Master’s and Doctoral students. His inclusion in Harvard’s course A608 recognises his impactful work as the founder of Dexterity Global, a social initiative he launched in Patna, Bihar, at the age of 16. Dexterity Global empowers young leaders from financially disadvantaged backgrounds and has facilitated scholarships worth INR 2.75 billion from leading global universities.

In a post on X, Sharad expressed his honour at being featured in the course and shared his journey during an appearance on the A608 After Hours Podcast with Professors Monica Higgins and Uche Amaechi. The podcast brings real-world leadership experiences into the classroom, inspiring students in entrepreneurship and leadership.

Sharad’s work has earned widespread recognition, with Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee describing Dexterity Global as an “unusual institution.” The Telegraph also praised Dexterity’s students, hailing them as the future of India.

The A608 After Hours Podcast interviews leaders across various sectors, offering insights into how their experiences align with Harvard’s leadership course. This makes it a valuable learning tool for aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders worldwide.
