Saint Louis University (SLU) in the United States has announced that international students can apply through its Early Decision II option, with a deadline set for 16 January 2024. This opportunity is aimed at those who were unable to apply under Early Decision I by the earlier deadline of 1 November.

International students from over 90 countries form a vibrant part of SLU’s diverse community. The Early Decision II option allows candidates more time to visit the campus and make a decision. However, it is a binding process, meaning admitted students must commit to attending SLU and withdraw applications from other institutions. Admission notifications will begin on 1 February 2024.

Prospective students must submit an online application, academic records, proof of English proficiency (via PTE, SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo), and are encouraged to provide recommendation letters. SLU offers numerous competitive master’s and doctoral programmes, attracting students from around the world.

The university emphasises its robust support services for international students, including guidance on applications, housing, scholarships, and transitioning to life in the US. Dedicated counsellors assist students at every step, ensuring a smooth admission process and integration into campus life.

Saint Louis University’s commitment to fostering a global academic community underscores its appeal as a top destination for international students, further strengthening its reputation in the United States.
