Strathclyde University Awards £6,000 Scholarship for Physics Master’s Programme

This scholarship is available to international applicants in the Faculty of Science at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, for the Master of Physics programme. The Department of Physics is offering scholarships of £6,000 to new international students entering a Postgraduate Taught Master’s programme in the 2024-25 academic year.

To be eligible for the scholarship, all offer holders in the postgraduate Master’s programme taught by the Department of Physics will be considered. No additional application form is required.
Eligibility
To be considered for a Faculty of Science International Master’s Scholarship for Physics, candidates must:

  • Be a new, fee-paying international student who received an offer of admission by 31 July 2024, for the full-time, taught Master’s programme in the Department of Physics for the 2024/2025 academic year.
  • Be self-funded.
  • Do not have any other scholarship. Scholarship recipients, such as those with full scholarships sponsored by a government office or embassy, will not be eligible.

Candidates must meet the above criteria to apply for the Faculty of Science International Master’s Scholarship for Physics.

Scholarship recipients are expected to commence their studies in the 2024-25 academic year and maintain the scholarship conditions.

Students should note that the scholarship will not apply if the awardee defers admission to the following academic year.

This scholarship will be applied towards tuition fees and cannot be used to pay a deposit. It is important to note that a student cannot apply for more than one scholarship from the University of Strathclyde for the same academic year. The decision made by the Faculty of Science regarding scholarship awards is final and no appeals will be entertained.
