University of Southampton Delhi Announces Key Leadership Appointments

The University of Southampton Delhi has announced the appointment of key leadership figures to further strengthen its presence in India. Pritesh Zaveri has been appointed as the Director for Recruitment, Marketing & Admissions, while Dr. Vishal Talwar takes on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The university’s move to appoint these leaders is aimed at fostering operational excellence and academic growth, as well as reinforcing its commitment to becoming a prominent educational institution in India. Andrew Atherton, Vice-President International and Engagement at the University of Southampton, expressed enthusiasm about the appointments, saying: “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Vishal Talwar and Mr. Pritesh Zaveri. The University of Southampton Delhi will be the first comprehensive international campus in India, bringing an international dimension to the Indian higher education system.”

Dr. Vishal Talwar, who previously served as Director and Head of Campus at the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and Dean of the School of Management at BML Munjal University, shared his excitement about the university’s mission. He highlighted the Delhi NCR region’s potential for networking, industry engagement, and career transformation, with a strong focus on academic rigour and holistic development for students.

Pritesh Zaveri, who has extensive experience in marketing and student recruitment, previously served as Director of Admission Outreach at Flame University and Head of Student Recruitment at SP Jain School of Global Management. His role at the University of Southampton Delhi will focus on driving student recruitment and promoting the university’s academic offerings.

These strategic appointments signal the university’s ambition to position itself as a top-tier institution in India, with a commitment to producing world-class, work-ready graduates in the country’s rapidly growing knowledge economy.
