University of Southampton Delhi Hosts Panel Discussion on Future of Work and Global Talent

The University of Southampton’s Delhi campus recently organised a panel discussion, bringing together leading industry professionals and academic experts to explore the evolving job market and global talent landscape. The event focused on two key themes: ‘The Future of Work and Education: A Transnational Perspective’ and ‘Redefining Global Talent: Aligning Education with Industry Needs’.

Kieron Broadhead, Deputy Vice-President (Operations) at the University of Southampton, highlighted the importance of transnational education in bridging the gap between academia and industry. “This event was a great example of how education and industry can work together to prepare students for the real world. It helps students develop a global outlook while enabling universities to design courses that match today’s job market,” he said.

The discussion featured prominent speakers from academia and global organisations, who shared insights on addressing the skills gap and aligning education with industry demands.
