The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, is now accepting applications for the Faculty of Engineering International Postgraduate Scholarships and the Dean’s International Excellence Awards for January 2025. These scholarships aim to attract international students with strong academic backgrounds for full-time, postgraduate-taught courses starting in January 2025.

The Faculty of Engineering scholarship offers a 15% fee reduction, approximately £4,240, for eligible international students. To qualify, applicants must hold an offer for a relevant postgraduate-taught degree by 10 January 2025. The scholarship covers various disciplines, including mechanical, civil, aerospace, and biomedical engineering, as well as architecture and renewable energy. Those pursuing two-year MSc courses will receive the fee reduction for the first year only.

For postgraduate research degrees, the 15% fee reduction applies year-round, with the requirement to start during the 2024/25 academic year.

Additionally, the Dean’s International Excellence Awards provide up to £8,000 for outstanding students, with a 15% tuition discount for the first year. Applications must be submitted by 22 November 2024.

Both scholarships aim to support students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and the potential to contribute significantly to the university community.
