University of Ottawa Offers International English Scholarships for 2024

The University of Ottawa is offering International English Scholarships for students from India, Africa, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Vietnam, aimed at reducing tuition fees for eligible undergraduate programmes taught in English. The scholarships comprise both Entrance and Excellence awards, which are renewable for up to 12 instalments based on academic performance.
Eligible students must meet specific criteria, including enrolment in a full-time English-language undergraduate programme at the university starting in the autumn of 2024 or later. The Excellence Scholarship, with up to 20 awards available, is automatically granted to students with an average admission score of 90% or higher. Entrance Scholarships are also awarded automatically based on an average score, with no limit on the number of recipients.
Scholarships can be renewed each year provided students maintain full-time enrolment and meet the required CGPA—5.00 for the Entrance Scholarship and 8.00 for the Excellence Scholarship.
The deadline to apply for the scholarships is 1 March 2025, with candidates needing to have their admission processed by 15 March 2025. To promote diversity, each faculty will award an equal number of scholarships.
