The University of Leeds has released the India Anniversary Masters Scholarship 2024, specifically for students from India intending to study at the University.

This scholarship programme marks another achievement by the University in developing educational cooperation and enhancing academic relations with India. Interested students can apply for the India Anniversary Masters Scholarship 2024, which covers tuition fees for master’s courses at the University of Leeds.

Applicants must be Indian nationals who have been offered a place to study for a full-time master’s degree at the University of Leeds. Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic performance and relevant personal qualifications, their potential impact on the university community, and their future plans within their specific field of specialisation.

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Leeds

    • To qualify for the scholarship, you must be an Indian citizen.
    • Eligible students must be self-sponsored and hold the status of international fee-paying students.
    • The master’s course you opt for must commence at the University of Leeds in September 2024.
    • You must be willing to meet all the conditions stipulated in the academic offer and agree to the terms provided on the application portal.
    • If applicable, you must also have paid a tuition fee deposit of £3,000 by the date specified in the offer letter.
    • This scholarship does not apply to online courses.
    • You must be registered as a University of Leeds student by the beginning of February 2025.
    • It can be used in conjunction with any available Department/Faculty scholarships or other external funding, provided that the total sum of the scholarship, plus the Department/Faculty and other external funds, does not exceed 100% of your tuition fee.
    • This scholarship cannot be deferred or transferred to any other year of entry. If you choose to defer your entry to a subsequent year, you will lose this award.
