The National University of Singapore (NUS) has announced that it is now accepting applications for the Academic Year 2025/2026 from international students, including those from India. Indian students aspiring to study at NUS can submit their applications for undergraduate courses until 5 February 2025.

NUS will assess applicants using a holistic approach, considering academic merit, subject prerequisites, and the applicant’s interests and aptitude for the chosen programme. For certain courses, such as Dentistry, Architecture, Industrial Design, Music, Nursing, and Medicine, interviews or tests may be required.

Indian students interested in applying must have completed their high school education by July 2025. Those who have completed Class 12 from Central, ISC, or other state boards are eligible to apply. Students from Central and ISC boards do not need to provide additional standardised test scores, while those from other state boards must submit results from tests such as the SAT, ACT, or Advanced Placement exams.

NUS has waived the English language requirement for Indian applicants. However, those taking the Class 12 exams in 2025 must update their results via the NUS Applicant Portal within three days of receiving them.

Notably, Indian students are not eligible to apply for courses in Dentistry, Law, Medicine, or Nursing at NUS. Applicants can track the progress of their application via the portal and must accept their offer if selected.

This presents a valuable opportunity for Indian students to pursue a world-class education at one of Asia’s top universities.
