EC English, a global leader in language education, has announced the opening of its first campus in the United Arab Emirates, marking the organisation’s entry into the Middle East. The EC Dubai campus, located in Dubai Knowledge Park, is set to welcome students from February 2025.

This launch is significant as it represents EC English’s first school in a non-native English-speaking country. CEO Andrew Mangion stated, “We are excited to bring our world-class language learning experience to Dubai, providing students with an opportunity to improve their English skills and broaden their horizons in an inspiring international environment.”

In addition to its core English courses, EC Dubai will offer specialised certificate programmes in business, marketing, and management, in partnership with Malta’s Central Mediterranean Business School. This initiative aims to cater to the increasing demand for career-focused education in the region.

The Dubai campus features nine state-of-the-art classrooms with a capacity for 135 students. Its strategic location provides excellent accessibility, particularly for learners from South Asia, Africa, and other parts of the Middle East, thanks to Dubai’s favourable visa policies.

EC English highlighted Dubai’s cultural diversity and status as a global business hub as key factors in choosing the city, noting that its world-class amenities create the perfect environment for international education.

With this expansion, EC Dubai joins the organisation’s network of adult schools across the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Malta, and South Africa. Founded in 1991 in Malta, EC English now operates 25 schools worldwide, having taught over one million students.

The opening of EC Dubai reinforces the UAE’s growing appeal as an international education destination while supporting EC English’s commitment to providing top-tier learning opportunities globally.
