The University of Queensland (UQ) in Australia is now accepting applications for the Destination Australia Scholarship for Semester 1, 2025. The scholarship, funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Education, promotes regional education and supports the National Strategy for International Education 2025.
Eligible international students will receive AUD 7,500 (approximately ₹4,00,000) per semester to assist with tuition and living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

  • To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:
  • Be an international student holding a valid student visa.
  • Be a University of Queensland graduate beginning a new programme, such as a Master’s degree.
  • Have a full offer to study an eligible programme entirely at UQ’s Gatton campus in 2025.

Application Deadline

Applications are open until noon on 20 January 2025. Prospective students must submit their applications online through the University of Queensland’s official portal.
