University of East Anglia Launches MSc in Global Public Health for 2025

The University of East Anglia (UEA) in the UK has announced the launch of its MSc in Global Public Health, set to begin in September 2025. The one-year programme aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to tackle global health challenges.

The course, offered by UEA’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, provides an interdisciplinary approach to public health. It is designed for those passionate about improving health outcomes worldwide, blending hands-on experience, cutting-edge research, and expert guidance from various disciplines, including international development, environmental sciences, and public health.

For international students, the tuition fee for the academic year 2025/26 is set at £22,700, with an expected monthly living expense of £1,136. The course is open to both UK and international fee-paying students, with entry requirements including a UK bachelor’s degree (2.2 or equivalent) in a health-related subject, along with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall.

The MSc in Global Public Health will delve into critical topics such as health equity, climate change, and sustainability. Students will gain the necessary analytical skills to address complex health issues and explore career opportunities in global public health research, policy analysis, health programme management, and NGOs.
