France’s ESCP Business School has announced a major expansion plan under its 2026–2030 Bold & United strategy, unveiling two new academic schools and strengthening partnerships in India to bolster its global reach.

The prestigious Grande École institution will launch the ESCP School of Technology in 2027, focusing on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, data analysis and emerging tech. By 2029, the ESCP School of Governance will open, covering geopolitics, public policy, international law, and global strategy.

“Our plan is a collective manifesto to shape ethical, empathetic, and excellent leaders,” said Léon Laulusa, ESCP’s executive president and dean.

With a projected €320 million investment, ESCP plans to create “future-ready ecosystems,” introduce a Global Master in Management, and launch at least four new MSc programmes — including one dedicated to the space industry. The business school will also expand its €9 million scholarship fund, aimed at widening access to global talent.

India, ESCP’s third-largest source country after France and Italy, is central to the school’s international strategy. The 2024–25 academic year saw 608 Indian students enrolled, and the school continues to deepen its presence through partnerships with top Indian institutes.

Following previous collaborations with IIMs in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, and SPJIMR, ESCP has now formalised new agreements with IIT Bombay and IIT Madras. These partnerships aim to foster faculty and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, and integration of emerging technologies in fields such as AI, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.

By 2030, ESCP aims to enrol over 12,000 students from 150+ nationalities, employ 300 professors from 50 countries with gender parity, and generate €300 million in revenue — while maintaining its position among Europe’s top five business schools, as ranked by the Financial Times.

The strategic focus on India signals France’s growing educational collaboration with one of the world’s largest student markets, reinforcing both countries’ shared commitment to academic innovation and global leadership.
