Bucknell University, based in the United States, has secured fourth place among American baccalaureate colleges for study abroad participation, according to the Open Doors Report on International Education Exchange. The ranking is based on data from the 2022-23 academic year, during which 486 Bucknell students earned study abroad credits.

Stephen Appiah-Padi, Director of the Office of Global & Off-Campus Education, expressed pride in the university’s global outreach initiatives. “We are pleased to see so many of our Bucknell students take advantage of the study abroad opportunities we offer,” he said, emphasising the diverse programmes designed to align with students’ academic and professional aspirations.

Comprehensive Study Abroad Opportunities

Bucknell University offers six faculty-led, off-campus study programmes throughout the year in destinations such as France, Spain, London, Athens, Ghana, and the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia and Singapore. These programmes cover a range of disciplines, ensuring accessibility for a broad spectrum of students. In addition, the university provides short-term and exchange programmes in collaboration with international institutions.
