The College Board has officially released the registration deadlines for the SAT exams scheduled in May and June 2025, encouraging students worldwide, including in India, to register early and make the most of the preparation time.

According to the announcement, the deadline for registering for the May 3, 2025, SAT exam is April 18, 2025, while for the June 7, 2025, exam, the last date is May 22, 2025. Students who miss these dates can still register under the late registration window—April 22 for the May test and May 27 for the June test—by paying an additional fee.

Meenakshi Kachroo Chatta, Senior Director & Regional Head at the College Board, highlighted the organisation’s efforts to make SAT more accessible for students. “By expanding test centres, offering fee waivers, and providing preparation resources, we’re ensuring students, regardless of their background, can benefit from the SAT,” she said.

The SAT exam has now moved to a digital format, offering students a more secure and streamlined testing experience. In India, over 100 test centres and seven testing dates annually are now available, offering greater flexibility and reach.

The Fall 2025 SAT dates have also been announced—students can plan in advance for exams on August 23, September 13, October 4, November 8, and December 6, 2025.

Students are encouraged to use the Khan Academy’s personalised SAT prep modules, as well as the six full-length mock exams available on the Bluebook Testing App. Those without access to a digital device can request one through the College Board’s Device Lending Initiative, designed to ensure a fair and inclusive testing environment.

With ample time for preparation and enhanced digital resources, students aiming to study in the UK, USA, or other global destinations can now plan their SAT journey with confidence.
