France’s Excelia Tourism School has announced the expansion of its Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality to Paris, starting in the 2025 academic year. This move strengthens the institution’s presence in the hospitality sector while also introducing new MSc programmes and specialisations.

The school has restructured its programmes under two key banners. The ‘Hospitality-Events’ stream will focus on hotels, restaurants, and event management, while the ‘Tourism’ stream will cover tourism management. This restructuring aligns with industry trends and enhances career-focused education.

Richard Ginioux, Dean of Excelia Tourism School, stated, “The structuring of Excelia Tourism School’s offer into two distinct branches is in line with how industry professionals and the general public perceive the various activities in our sector. To ensure we cover the whole spectrum of disciplines, we are already designing two further study tracks, one dedicated to culinary arts, the other to wines and spirits.”

The school has also announced a revamped undergraduate curriculum, aimed at training students for middle-management roles in hospitality, tourism, events, and catering. From 2025, students can specialise in either tourism or hotel management and events, with the flexibility to switch between streams.

Alongside its La Rochelle and Tours campuses, Excelia Tourism School’s Paris expansion will provide students with more study options in the heart of France. In the second year of the Bachelor programme, a new international work placement will be introduced, offering hands-on experience in global tourism and hospitality sectors.

Excelia Tourism School has also expanded international opportunities, with students now able to earn a double qualification through partnerships in Germany, Finland, Latvia, and Thailand. The specialisations will be available in English or a bilingual French-English format.

With its new Paris programme and enhanced global opportunities, Excelia Tourism School aims to equip future professionals with the skills and experience required for the evolving tourism and hospitality industry.
