Royal Holloway and Shoolini University Launch Dual Master’s Degree Programme

Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL), and Shoolini University in India have signed an agreement to offer a dual 2+2 degree programme. This collaboration allows students to complete the first two years of their studies at Shoolini University and the final two years at RHUL, earning a globally recognised degree.

Professor RP Dwivedi, Director of International Affairs at Shoolini University, highlighted the advantages of this partnership, stating, “This collaboration not only allows our students to earn a globally recognised degree but also significantly boosts their chances of securing employment in the UK, with a two-year work visa post-graduation.”

He further emphasised that the programme fosters global connectivity by providing students with exposure to diverse cultural and academic perspectives.

Professor Julie Sanders, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Royal Holloway, University of London, described the partnership as a commitment to research-driven learning and global engagement. “It’s a partnership driven by a desire to build brilliant research-infused learning opportunities for our students,” she stated, as reported by The Tribune.

Available Courses Under the 2+2 Programme

  • BSc Agriculture (Shoolini) → Articulates to BSc Genetics, BSc Ecology and Conservation, BSc Biology, or BSc Molecular Biology and Environmental Change at RHUL.
  • BTech Biotechnology (Shoolini) → Leads to BSc Genetics or BSc Biochemistry at RHUL.
  • BTech Food Technology (Shoolini) → Articulates to BSc Genetics at RHUL.
  • BSc Microbiology (Shoolini) → Leads to BSc Genetics at RHUL.

Royal Holloway shared its enthusiasm for the growing collaboration on social media, stating, “Growing our partnership with @ShooliniUniv in India. A visit to a partner university today sparked discussions on collaboration, as well as the inauguration of a Bio Innovation laboratory and the planting of a tree.”
