VIT Mauritius Opens UG Applications for 2025 Intake; Apply by 30 June

VIT Mauritius, one of the country’s leading higher education institutions, has opened applications for its undergraduate engineering programmes for the July 2025 intake. Students interested in studying in Mauritius can apply until 30 June 2025.
Located in the tropical paradise of Mauritius, VIT offers international students access to globally recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) programmes in:
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Engineering with Data Science
- Computer Engineering with Artificial Intelligence
All courses are approved and accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of Mauritius.
Admission to these programmes is based on Class 12 academic results and a personal interview—no entrance exams required. The first academic year will begin in July 2025.
The institution’s strategic location in Africa, within the Indian Ocean region, makes it a hub for international students from Asia, Africa, and Europe. The university promotes a multicultural, English-speaking environment ideal for academic and personal growth.
Students at VIT Mauritius benefit from modern infrastructure, quality healthcare, and free local transportation to and from campus by bus or metro. The country also allows international students to work up to 20 hours per week during their studies and offers a three-year post-study work permit, making it a highly attractive destination for higher education.
Indian and other international students will find an inclusive and welcoming community, alongside a curriculum designed to prepare them for the global job market. The university promises a transformative academic experience, combining world-class education with the advantages of living in one of the safest countries for students.
With no language barriers—English is the official language—and a strong support system in place, VIT Mauritius is positioning itself as a top choice for students looking to study abroad in a safe, affordable, and career-focused environment.
Prospective students are encouraged to apply early and secure their spot before the 30 June deadline.
