Xavier University, based in the US, is set to visit India in an effort to foster new educational collaborations with Indian institutions. The visit, aimed at strengthening the university’s ties with India’s education sector, will be led by Vice President of Enrollment and Strategy, Scott Clyde, and Director of International Recruitment, Tsvety Karaivanova.

During their visit, Clyde and Karaivanova will engage with education consultants, school counsellors, and academic institutions to explore potential partnerships and scholarship opportunities for Indian students. The delegation’s mission is to create long-term, meaningful relationships with Indian educators and institutions to benefit both parties. “Our goal is to build meaningful, long-term relationships with India’s educators and institutions. This visit is about collaboration, innovation, and strengthening pathways for student success,” said Clyde.

As part of their outreach, Xavier University will also host an exclusive podcast session with Hindustan Times, offering insights into fostering deeper educational relationships between the US institution and Indian counterparts.

Xavier University is known for its strong academic reputation and international student community, particularly in the health sciences. The university’s pre-med programme boasts an impressive 86% acceptance rate into medical schools, nearly double the US average. Looking ahead, Xavier plans to expand its health science offerings with the introduction of a college of osteopathic medicine in 2027.

The university also boasts a highly ranked location in Cincinnati, recently named the best city for young professionals by Niche and Forbes. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 11:1, Xavier offers personalised attention to its international students.

This visit marks an important step in building stronger educational pathways for Indian students seeking opportunities at Xavier University in the US.
