Medicaps University Expands Global Footprint with Student Exchange Programme

Medicaps University, Madhya Pradesh, India, has strengthened its global academic reach by partnering with Woosong University (South Korea) and INTI University (Malaysia) for a student exchange programme. Under this initiative, five students from the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Management disciplines will study abroad for a semester, gaining international exposure and research opportunities in urban development.

The exchange programme is designed to equip students with global learning experiences, allowing them to explore international education systems while contributing innovative solutions to urban challenges in India.

Selection Process & Programme Details

The five students were chosen through a rigorous five-month selection process, evaluating 26 applicants based on academic performance, Statement of Purpose (SOP), and personal interviews. The final selection was made by a committee comprising the Head of Department, Dean, and Vice-Chancellor.

Dr. D K Patnaik, Vice-Chancellor of Medicaps University, emphasised the programme’s significance, stating: “Our students will gain exposure to world-class education systems and bring back innovative solutions for Indore’s sustainable development. This initiative aligns with our vision of creating global citizens who contribute meaningfully to local communities.”

The selected students and their exchange destinations are:

  • Nancy Srivastava and Ayush Joshi (CSE) – Woosong University, South Korea
  • Irifa Khaishagi and Sakina Bohra (CSE) – INTI University, Malaysia
  • Vanshika Soni (Management) – INTI University, Malaysia

This collaboration highlights India’s growing focus on global education partnerships, ensuring students receive world-class learning opportunities while fostering international academic relationships.
